Montane Prism Glove

rated 5 of 5 stars
photo: Montane Prism Glove insulated glove/mitten

Excellent build quality, incredibly small and light when packed, yet brilliant when called into use.

Pros

  • Weight
  • Size
  • Quality
  • Warm
  • Wind proof

Cons

  • Probably not suitable for extreme cold
  • Nothing else!

I had been looking for some gloves for a couple of years, but as soon as I saw these I knew they were the ones. Light, incredibly small pack size and just warm enough for general hill walking.

After a couple of uses I can say that they have lived up to my expectations and more. So light and small you can take them with you on every walk, yet when I got to the top today the wind chill (approx -10) made me reach for these gloves from my pack. They instantly blocked the wind and provided just enough insulation to keep my hands warm for the rest of the walk.

Only used twice so far but I know these gloves will be going on every walk from now on.
