A good casual shoe or light hiker if you have no feet…

Rating: rated 3 of 5 stars
Materials: synthetic upper and "aggressive tread"
Use: weekday office warrior
Break-in Period: Wish they hadn't "broke in" so well.
Weight: moderately light
Price Paid: $39.99

A good casual shoe or light hiker if you have no feet issues and you don't think much about your feet. I liked them for casual work and fun. But, after a few months, I noticed the torsional rigidity of the shoe had weakened including the firmness under my feet. They had also widened out a bit, especially in the heel and needed tight lacing to feel snug. I took 'em back to REI and got some Vasque lite hike shoes.

Synthetic leather and mesh uppers optimize breathability and minimize weight for aggressive hiking or just walking in warmer conditions. Polyester/nylon lining is quick-drying and low-friction to help minimize hot spots. TerraFlex™ OXT nylon plates provide optimum torsional rigidity for protection on uneven surfaces. Polyurethane midsoles are lightweight and offer ample cushioning and shock absorption for all-day wear. FasTrax carbon rubber outsoles deliver sticky traction on all types of surfaces, wet or dry.
