Great shoe, I really hope Montrail never stops making them. They are great. Use them for light hikes, mountain biking, working out, and then I use them for yard work and grab a new pair from REI...the soles are really great just seem to never wear out.

Here's what other sites are saying:

Cerraprene rubber-impregnated synthetic leather toe and heel patches offer superior protection from rocks and trail hazards. Designed specifically for trail running, these shoes offer optimal shock absorption, protection and performance no matter where your feet take you. Lightweight synthetic leather and nylon mesh uppers with moisture-wicking linings dry quickly and won't absorb water. Phylon midsoles with flexible nylon forefoot plates cushion and protect feet yet offer critical torsional support on uneven terrain. Reinforced toe boxes and heel counters protect from trail hazards plus offer support and a controlled fit. Sticky carbon-rubber lug outsoles offer sure grip and durable wear on the trail.
