User Review: Mountain Hardwear Backcountry 60 Pad
|
Rating: ![]()
Price Paid: $26
The sleeping pad is comfy, but it comes at a price. It's heavy. REALLY HEAVY. Plus, when you roll it up, it's not very compact.
I was beguiled by the fact that it also turns into a chair, but don't let that persuade you to buy it. Instead, get an inflatable pad and a conversion chair--your back and your backpack will thank you.
It's OK for car camping. I would not take it on a backpacking trip.
P.S. If I had seen the item in a store, instead of the internet, I would NOT have bought it. Not even the low price can compensate for the item's heaviness.
