The Mountain Hardwear Women's Canyon Shorts are ready for the trail-hiking life. The unlined, seamless waist is built to sit comfortably underneath your backpack's hip belt. Stream crossing no problem; not only do the nylon shorts dry quickly, the pockets have mesh drain panels so the water clears out quickly. The gusseted crotch gives you a little more freedom to move when you're hiking and scrambling over challenging trails. Two secure back pockets make sure you don't lose your pocket knife or lip balm.

The Canyon Short by Mountain Hardwear is ideal for wet/dry, in and out of the water summer days. Canyon Shorts are basically like Canyon Pants but with a 7" inseam. The Supplex fabric is light, quick-to-dry, and unlined. To help you keep your cool, we treat it to move body moisture before it becomes sweat.

The Canyon Short's waist is seamless and conically-cut to nest atop your hips without bunching even with a pack belt. A twill web belt with buckle keeps your shorts where they should be if you take a swim, and the crotch is gusseted for extended range of motion. Equipped with extra roomy front hand pockets (with mesh drain insets) accesible even while wearing a pack belt.
The Mountain Hardwear Womens Canyon Shorts are ready for the trail-hiking life. The unlined, seamless waist is built to sit comfortably underneath your backpacks hip belt.
Perfect for hiking in arid backcountry, the Canyon Short features a lighter, three-ounce Supplex twill that's treated with a molecular moisture process that allows vapor to escape before it becomes sweat. This is a much lighter fabric than the Hardwear Cloth used in Mountain Hard Wear's Trail Short and Pack Pant, but the design is similar. As trekkers and backpackers, the designers at Mountain Hard Wear know that outdoor apparel shouldn't rub, chafe or irritate, so they created the Canyon Short with strategically placed seams that provide comfort under pack straps, hip belts and other loads. It features a seamless conical waist with an adjustable web belt. The front hand pockets have mesh drain inserts and the left rear pocket has a Velcro tab while the right rear pocket has a zipper closure.
