Summary
Well made, very light, wind breaker.
Pros
- under 2 oz
- can put in your shirt pocket
Cons
- only 2 colors to pick from
This is the lightest windbreaker I own. You can roll it up and put it in your shirt pocket, the weight is 1.94 oz, i bought it a size larger because its's a pullover, can layer it over fleece that way and it's easier to get on and off. the only way to vent is a half zipper in the front, no pit zips.
The fabric is very strong [I used it in the Smokies this fall with no problems] but so thin you can see through it. for the weight it blocks the wind and kept me warm when hiking. water resistance was good and breathability was ok.
I like it so much i got my wife one for Christmas. I find i use my ultralight windbreakers a lot more than a regular windbreaker because they're so easy to carry around. from canoeing to hiking to eating out or going to the movies if you don't have it with you it does you no good. thanks
