Description of Mountain Hardwear Habitat 5 FootprintWith many of our tents, you can create a functional shelter by using just the fly, the tent poles, and a Footprint our accessory grommeted sheet that normally serves as protection for your tents floor. The resulting structure keeps off the rain, provides a fabric floor, and has tremendous ventilation at a fraction of the weight of the complete tent. The Pitch Light option is especially useful for fast-and-light, mild-weather trips. Some tents may require additional pole bindings at intersections andor webbing support for struts and brow poles. These items are included in the appropriate Footprint package.FeaturesMinimum Weight 1 lb. 6 oz. 620 g.Body 70D Nylon Taffeta 3000mm PU

The Mountain Hardwear Habitat 5 Footprint protects your tent's floor from abuse that rocks, sticks, and other campsite nasties are sure to dish out. This lightweight ground cloth securely attaches with its corner pole grommets, and it adds water repellency during soggy trips. When you're moving fast, leave the tent body at home and create an ultralight shelter with the poles and rain fly.
