Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Fabric: Gore-tex Performance (not Paclite)
Price Paid: $280

This is yet another excellent jacket made by Mountain Hardwear. Although it is listed as being made of Gore-tex Paclite, it is actually made from Gore-tex Performance material. Either way, it keeps the elements out very well. It has all the features you could ever need in a jacket and is very adjustable. By that I mean it is covered in drawstrings to make it fit to a tee, regardless of what you're wearing underneath. The zip off hood and zip off powder guard are also nice touches.

The fleece lining might be the best part of this jacket. I thought at first that it might make it hot on warm days and heavy overall but really just makes it even more comfortable, especially around the neck and cheek.

If you're thinking about buying this jacket, I would go ahead and do it. It might lighten up your wallet a little bit, but everything considered, it's definitely worth it.
