Rating: rated 4 of 5 stars
Design: mummy
Fill: synthetic
Temperature Rating: 15
Weight: around 3 pounds
Price Paid: $90

Really this bag is about as good as you can get for the money. As far as I could tell on paper, none of the other synthetic bags offered much over this one.

I've had it out in weather from 5-60 degrees. Every time it as been comfortable and warm. I like the little stow pocket next to the draft collar. If I didn't have a sleeping bag right now, I'd probably get the same one, if not, probably the Lamina 0 but the size sacrifice wouldn't probably be worth it.

Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Design: mummy
Fill: Thermic CF
Temperature Rating: 15 F
Weight: 3 lbs
Price Paid: $79.99

This is an awesome sleeping bag. I live in Atlanta, Ga., and the weather here isn't exactly the most favorable. It's hot and humid or cold and humid. The humidity is so bad that down bags just can't survive outside without getting wet with dew and turning cold and smelly. I've hated having to carry a huge synthetic bag, but couldn't find any alternatives.

The Thermic CF packs small like down, but also allows me to sleep outside with no worries. I recommend it to all of yall, but have to warn you that when they say regular fits to 6 ft they really mean it. If you're taller than 6 ft you should get the large.

Catch yall on the trail.

The Mountain Hardwear Lamina Sleeping Bag utilizes Thermic CF insulation, a material co-developed by Mountain Hardwear and Polarguard to emulate the positive qualities of down in a synthetic. Welded to the bag's shell, Thermic CF doesn't suffer from the water vulnerabilities of down, but has better loft, softness, and compressibility than you'd expect from a synthetic. The 15-degree Lamina is a great all-purpose, all-season bag good for everything but the coldest and hottest nights. A draft collar and face gasket seal in warmth, and a trapezoidal comfort footbox makes for more natural foot placement. Representing a leap forward in the quest to have your cake and eat it too, the Lamina stands out from the crowd.
