From Altrec Outdoors:
"Aptly named for its backcountry prowess, the Mountain Hardware Phenom Backpack offers the functional simplicity and durability alpinists desire. For lighter loads, remove the waist belt and floating top lid. Even with the lid removed a fold top closure blocks snow and rain from entering easily. When fully loaded for an overnighter or crammed with climbing hardware for a full day on a demanding route, the Phenom's HDPE framesheet with perimeter alloy shaping rod assist with evenly dispersing the weight to the shoulder straps and waist belt. And for convenient tool attachment, dual Axe-S ice axe toggles offer innovative, quick release access. For an additional 1,000 cubic inches of capacity, be sure to check out the Mountain Hardware Trance Backpack."
