I spent a week in West Virginia hiking around near Sinica Rock in May and we encountered every type of weather from sun to sleat, snow, and rain everyday and this tent kept us dry very well. The locking tips of the poles makes it very easy to set up, also helping with the stability. The head room is exceptional along with the weight. The secondary outer cover helps even more with the weather broofing also providing a large gear storage area, two people can easily cruch inside to get out of muddy boots or pants. There's a weather window in the door of the secondary to see if you should head out or not. It's very similar to the Windlight 2. Check it out at your friendly naberhood outdoor adventure store and be amazed. It's a bomb shelter!!!!!!!!!!!!!
