Just to add a few comments to the other review: the instructions on pack adjustments are there, permanently attached to the inside of the top lid. So here's a suggestion to thoroughly explore your pack before attempting any adjustments.
Second: I love the "funny" narrow, hourglass shape. It gives you complete arm movement fore and aft, and allows for external carry of tents or sleeping pads without greatly widening your pack. I wish it had external water bottle pockets, though...
A great bag for 20 to 30 lbs of load. I have found it to be very comfortable - better than I thought it would be on first looking at it. I'll try mine on a PCT thru-hike next year - with a Gregory for backup. :^) Happy hiking!
