Bought this pack for the varied types of camping.

Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Design: Top Loading
Size: 6000
Number of Pockets: 6
Max. Load Carried: 85 lbs (really)
Height of Owner: 5'8"
Price Paid: $139 Campmor

Bought this pack for the varied types of camping. It has a separate sleeping bag compartment, but the divider is a pull string type closure so that you could open the pack up the full length.

Top lid detaches to become a butt pack, the side pockets hold loads of stuff and the center back pocket is great for quick access stuff.

The max load I carried was not intentional, I was taking weight off other hikers (injuries, illness etc) and ended up with 85lbs (we weighed the pack). I can say this is a fantastic pack.
