I put off getting this "day pack" for some time due…

Rating: rated 4 of 5 stars
Design: rucksack
Size: 2400?
Number of Pockets: 2
Max. Load Carried: 20 lbs.
Height of Owner: 6' 2"
Price Paid: $75

I put off getting this "day pack" for some time due to the price. It seemed odd to me that anyone would have to pay over seventy dollars for a friggin' hip pack, but I finally gave in. I, so far, have been more or less pleased with the results, there is ample room for a day's hiking or a trip around town, the inside pocket(conviently colored yellow for visibility) is good for holding valuables like wallets and keys, and the hip belt holds up good for light loads.

What I do not like about this pack is 1. the price--outlandish 2. the performance of the hipbelt under heavy loads 3. having to purchase the shoulder straps and other cheap accesories instead of them just including them.

Oh yeah, the zippers on this pack are wonderful, they are huge and stick proof, as is the rest of the pack--Mountainsmith will also replace any worn out or broken parts with NEW, not repaired ones.

Great pack--would be perfect if not for the price.
