Rating: rated 3.5 of 5 stars
Design: top-loading internal
Size: 2800 - 3000
Number of Pockets: 3
Max. Load Carried: 40 lb.
Height of Owner: 5' 11''
Price Paid: $60 ish

Holds plenty of gear and has points to add gear to the outside of the pack. Is great for large loads and rides well whatever the weight.

Only downside, needs more small pockets for gear.

Probably best for climbers as an approach pack. Not recommended for cyclists.

Retailers' Descriptions

Here's what other sites are saying:

You obviously enjoy nature if you're outside hiking around in it. So why not choose a daypack that's environmentally friendly? The trail-ready Mountainsmith Spire 30 Backpack consists of recycled PET fabric. This pack fits enough gear for a tentless overnight camping trip or a day on the rock. The breathable Air mesh foam back panel and shoulder straps feel comfortable on sweaty hikes, and a built-in sleeve and exit port accept your hydration bladder and drinking tube. Mountainsmith designed the Spire 30 Backpack with a pivoting waist belt that lets you bend and twist more freely than a convention pack does.
