Summary
Lightweight, hard plastic, deep plate for when you want to have a meal that it is not out of a mug or cup.
Pros
- Cost
- Light weight
Cons
- Not going to be something that takes up a little space in your pack
This comes in three sizes (Small, Medium and Large). I purchased the large.
I picked up one of these from Moosejaw because I wanted something a little larger for meals like beans and rice or times when I did not want to eat a meal out of a cup. It is large (8.75 in x 1.7 in) and fairly light (4 oz). You could pour a bowl of soup in it easily and not spill out of the large sides.
The cost is fairly cheap, at $5.95 it is not going to hurt your wallet. The only con and I knew this when I got it is that it takes up some space in a pack and is not like your nesting cook set. All in all think it is a good buy.
