Best pack I have ever owned. Carried 60 plus lbs.

Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Design: Top Loader
Size: 4800 but will exstend to 6000 CI
Number of Pockets: Two Back plus sleeping bag compartment
Max. Load Carried: 66 lbs
Height of Owner: 5' 11"
Price Paid: $300 plus

Best pack I have ever owned. Carried 60 plus lbs. with ease.

In my opinion MR should have just upgraded the pack design and left the harness and suspension as they were. Instead they came out with the G5000 a decent pack but nowhere near the comfort or quality of the suspension or harness of the Grove. I had mine for eight years and just passed it on to a buddy of mine and he loves it.

As for me I had to go with MR Grizzle to get a suspension as close as the Groove. The Grizzle suspension is a step up but the harness is a step down. Still if you want a pack that can carry weight, last through years of abuse and don't mind paying the price then MR packs are far beyond the rest.
