User Review: New England Ropes / Maxim Apogee 9.1 mm

Price Paid: $140
This is the nicest climbing rope I have ever used. It is very thin and lightwieght, but it still holds 5 UIAA falls. It is a dry rope, which makes this rope, coupled with its light weight, ideal for alpine routes where you will encounter glaciers, rock, and ice. I have used it a couple of times already, on some short sport and trad routes( 1/2 to a full pitch) and you don't even feel it pulling throught the gear. It slides through biners like a hot knife thru butter. Really, for all the alpine climbers out there, this is the rope to get.
