Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Use: Canyoneering
Break-in Period: none
Price Paid: about $100

Excellent product, I've had mine for several years now and finally wore them out last weekend. I have a fused right foot though which wears out shoes exponentially faster than a normal foot would. (my left shoe is no where near worn out).

These have been worn exclusively when I am canyoneering. They evacuate water quickly upon exiting the watercourse. They are very light weight. They grip the rocks well even when wet, and give good ankle support.

The only complaint I have is they can get a little hot when hiking away from the water in the hot sun for a while.

Here's what other sites are saying:

Created specifically for canyoneering, the Nike ACG Air Riovero is a fast-draining lightweight boot that's also excellent for hiking and light scrambling. The highly technical outsole is rounded in back for rafts and features an extended medial edging zone up front for climbing. A low-profile Zoom Air unit inside the midsole helps cushion the front of your foot without dampening edging sensitivity. Drainage ports in the upper help reduce dry-out times. Water-resistant Hypalon upper Synthetic padding along opening enhances long-wear comfort Molded rubber toe and heel for protection Durable webbing loops reduce weight Full length, lightweight Phylon midsole Internal Zoom Air unit in forefoot to minimize stone bruising Boat-friendly rounded heel Water drainage port and removable sock liner that can be swapped for a neoprene sock Sticky rubber outsole
