This all-weather version of the Zoom Steens offers a similar, but slightly different feel than the standard low-cut model. There seems to be slightly less sole flex and the laces are more secure than the standard model. Ankle support and stability are even slightly better, due to the high top design. Outsole traction is excellent as long as you don't step on a hard, smooth surface such as a wet log. I have used them rain, mud, and snow without a leak. This is a superb shoe.
