For use in cold winter climate, this is the best. Tightly woven, top quality long fibred Egyptian cotton, exquisite details, developed and improved during decades of positive reaction on feedback from serious users. Sure, it does have its drawbacks. Even with good waterproofing it will get wet in sleat/rain, it takes time to dry and it may freeze to a quite solid armour. But breathability is superior, it feels much warmer that synthetics, and it lasts for ever. Glad to to see the increasing interest in outerwear made of high quality natural fibres.

Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Fabric: 100% cotton

The one and only cross-country skiing anorak (storm-jacket) for mountains and Norweigan and Swedish fjäll.

The fabric, sturdy tight-wowen 100% cotton is superoir to Gore-Tex in tempratures below zero degrees Celsius. A serious mountaineer knows this for a fact. The cotton-fabric breathes out your sweat far better then Gore-Tex.

I have had my Norrøna Anorak for several years now and I value it to be one of my most precious outdoor belongings.
