Norrona Bitihorn Dri1 Jacket
Fabric: NYLON PU COATED
Fill: A must !
Price Paid: $274.95 at Backcountry
I would qualify this rain jacket of excellent. Think of this super light item: only 9.8oz (280g) very compressible, has 2 underarm zips "easy glide" by side to regulate the airflow, you can open them by the top or by the end. They are so wide that you can with one hand zip easily to move something under. The front one has been studied to move without blocking and is very supple.
The waterproof coat is special to avoid perspiration rather similar to the Marmot type, breathable Rating: 23000g, waterproof rating 20K. Has 2 front pockets left bigger for papers, right for keys or else. The cuffs are tightened with velcro while elastics at hem, hood and backhood tighten efficiently with transparent togs. Motion is excellent.
The jacket exist in Diva blue, ebony with orange breast pocket, full orange. Same item exist for women in blue atoll, raspberry rose, ebony.
Notice: this rain jacket wear short,so if you order it, ask the dimensions first; for myself I bought a XXL while I usually take XL. I used it summer 2009 and was fully satisfied with it, especially motion and lightness. It is recommended for light backpacking, running, biking.
The quality justify the price but you won't regret your buy.
