Olicamp Vector Stove

rated 5.0 of 5 stars
photo: Olicamp Vector Stove compressed fuel canister stove

The best stove I ever owned. Light and small.

Pros

  • Small in size
  • Heats fast
  • Lightweight
  • Cheaper than an MSR PocketRocket

Cons

  • Easy to lose out of its case

The best stove I have ever owned. Quick setup and heats quick. The stove takes up no room in your pack and it fits in just about any cook pot. I use a stainless steel Stanly cook pot.

I bought a dry sack and found it takes up less space in my pack than my son's Jetboil. At 10,000 btu "I think" it heat and boils fast to get you feed and on the go again. The wire control handle allows for easy to use heat control. I use less fuel with this stove than my son's Jetboil.

On a trip With our Boy Scout Troop. I let one of the younger boys use it. He dropped it in the mud. I washed it off lightly and aired dried it for an hour. It lit fine at dinner time. It's cheaper than a Jetboil and PocketRocket.
