Having had the smaller, men's version of this pack-type (Aether 60), and liking its feel, I decided to purchase the customizable women's series pack--slightly larger, the Ariel 75 has just enough space to pack what you need without overloading yourself.
We took a 100-mile trek through the SNP at the end of the summer. I had just purchased the pack, and hoped it wore as well as the Aether. I was very pleasantly surprised. I was able to carry my pack each day without much realization I will still wearing it. This pack fits you as if it were an extension to your own body--very snug, and rides around your hips rather than on top of them. It was the first time I did not need additional padding on my bonier areas to soften a long day on the trail.
Pockets are quite adequate and, although there is no hydration bladder inside, the outside front pocket fits a 70 oz bladder well, and does not affect the balance of pack. Others use the top pocket. Two side mesh pockets are also much roomier than they look.
I highly recommend this pack--great comfort, durable materials, just enough pockets to help organize.

Heading into the backcountry? The Osprey women's Ariel 75 pack offers a lightweight mountaineering design, streamlined profile and custom-moldable hipbelt that lets you port your gear comfortably. Women's custom-moldable hipbelt features dual-density foam that contours to your body (check your REI store for a custom hipbelt molding oven). Hipbelt closure provides extra leverage in cinching, drawing tension along top and bottom-not through the center-to relieve hipbone pressure. Women's dual-density foam harness with spacer mesh promotes airflow and wicks away moisture during warm weather and intense activity. HDPE framesheet and 2/3-length aluminum stay provides stiff, lightweight structure to support heavy loads; nubbed foam back panel shields your back from bulky or pointy items. Peripheral rods running down the sidewall actively transfers the load from back to hips. Top pocket can be removed and converted into a lumbar pack; hipbelt on pack can be removed and slid onto lumbar pack for comfortable carrying. Externally accessible bottom compartment with wide mouth and divider accommodates all types of sleeping bags. Dual-entry side pockets keep essentials easily accessible, and a stretch-woven front pocket with welded vent accepts Osprey AddOns(TM) (not included). 3 horizontal straps let you securely compress the contents; internal compression strap stabilizes the load. Side gear straps, ice axe tool loops, cord loop attachment slots, sleeping pad straps and trekking pole attachment point accommodate all your alpine gear. Hydration-compatible design features reservoir sleeve and dual drink tube exit ports for on-the-go hydration (reservoir not included). Osprey Ariel 75 pack shaves weight yet remains tough with a 210-denier double-ripstop nylon and 420-denier nylon packcloth body and 500-denier plain-weave oxford nylon bottom. Closeout.
