Rating: rated 4 of 5 stars

Summary

AWESOME PACK! This pack has done two 25+ mile treks in the middle of Wisconsin winters loaded with a bladder, safety gear, and of course food. It also served as a great day pack for 2 weeks in Israel holding our camera, water, small laptop, and of course food.

Pros

  • Best warranty there is
  • Holds up great

Cons

  • Not enough separate pockets
  • Side pockets do not come up high enough to hold tall bottles

The pack fits very well with both the hip and chest belts holding it secure during hikes as well as trail runs. Very comfortable to wear, even all day long. Capacity is what is expected and the bag does seem to stretch a bit when needed. The pack could use another pocket or two to better organize things and the smaller pocket on top often gets sacrificed when the main compartment is too full (they use the same space).

It has held up very well to some abuse and prolonged use in conditions ranging from cold Wisconsin winter treks to hot arid hiking in Israel. I have had the pack for about 3 years now and since then bought another Osprey pack for travel. Great pack.
