Very well made pack--I bought it in 1998 and it has held up strong. Good shoulder strap design, simple toploader. Osprey seems to have shifted towards more complex designs lately.

Pros: Simple, incredibly strong and long lasting.

Cons: Material was never very waterproof. Top zipper is too long, which makes it easy for things to fall out the edges if you're not careful.
