As an avid x-country skier in the Catskill Mts. of upstate NY, I'm always on the look-out for comfortable, lightweight, flexible, and weatherproof, outerwear. the OR Exos pants are my first OR product. My other ski pants are Sporthill XC, Mountain Hardwear, and REI.

The Exos fit as advertised: roomy, semi-form fitting, not bulky. The zip pockets are unobtrusive and functional. The fabric has stretch and is semi-windproof (10-20 mph breezes). The OR Exos pants withstand wet snow and misting conditions but are not waterproof...although, quick drying when wet from Spring snow conditions. At the sale price of $95 they are a solid addition to my outerwear and stylish enough to wear out for a beverage or informal dinner after a day on the trail.
