Fantastic product. I only hope OR does not discontinue it or add pit zips to appeal to accessory-attracted buyers. I could even do with fewer pockets.
Stretch fabric is a dream and very durable for the weight. Zippers are bit stiff but have performed excellently. Hood is excellent, especially with a brimmed cap. A light, bright color like yellow would be an excellent addition for both visibility and sun reflection.
Light enough to be your only wind and bug protection in summer but serious enough for 3-season storm protection. Needs a matching full-zip pant in a light color.
Here's what other sites are saying:
You don't have to be crazy about storms to be able to enjoy hiking during one, especially when you're wearing the waterproof, breathable Fanatic Jacket from Outdoor Research. Slide into this lightweight Pertex nylon shell when all you need is a little protection from damp conditions, it keeps you dry with a 2.5-layer waterproof membrane, waterproof zips, and taped seams, and when the sun comes out, stow it away in the internal chest pocket that doubles as a stuff sack.
