Rating: rated 2 of 5 stars

This product has a lot of great qualities which are overshadowed by its vulnerability to leaks. We have two women's longs bought in 2005. Each has leaked three times and currently has a leak I can't find. It really doesn't matter how great the insulation is, how compact it rolls up, or how light the pad is if you are flat on the ground. We don't abuse our sleeping pads - they've always been used on a tent floor. Two Therm-a-rests lasted five years until we wanted something more compact.

An award winner for innovation, the women's Max-Mtn offers a warmer foot area and added hip support. Multiple-foam construction with lateral cross-core at hips provides added support; multiple foam at foot area provides additional warmth. Outer shell is made of tough oval-ripstop nylon for increased protection against abrasion, punctures and tears. DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish helps protect mat from moisture and stains. Four-season pad rolls up compactly and inflates quickly for a comfortable snooze. New titanium/aluminum anodized valve is lightweight, weather-safe and impact-resistant.
