Pacific Trail Pac Tech Perfomance Hydro Vent

I loved my jacket. It did its job on a trip hiking to Bhutan around 2001, but never used it much later. As I was going mountaineering I just washed it with Tide/Oxi gentle cycle and it fell apart. The inner white lining peeling all over the washer, sprinkling it onto my other down jacket and pants. Very odd. Nothing happened to my other products. Maybe this is why they stopped making it, because the lining or fabric behind the mesh lining was not durable.

I am so disappointed as it was quite a trip hiking in Bhutan and wanted to feel the fortitude on my next mountaineering adventure.

It was so many years ago that I don't remember. If I was able to wear it again I could tell you more precisely. It was a ladies Large.,I am 57.5 and 160lbs .. What I want to know is WHY did they stop making it. There must be a performance or make reason.

It was great up in Bhutan during the 5-day trek, cold weather. They must not make it anymore for a real longevity reason.
