Summary

High performance quick drying tee shirt.

Pros

  • lightweight
  • very quick drying fabric
  • breathable

This one is my preferred summer tee shirt for intense activities in the mountains like alpine climbing. From all the quick dry teeshirts I've tried, I would say Capilene 2 has the best performance. Because it's so lightweight and breathable and dries very quickly. Comfortable to wear. As for the fitting, I went one size down.

I've use it mainly in combination with a sofshell and this delivers just enough warmth for an active day in the mountains (summer time). For cold season, probably, it is too lightweight.
