Fabric: polyester
Fill: down
Price Paid: $125

My wife needed a casual down jacket with a hood. This one was on clearance at half price, so I grabbed it. This will be used for commuting in Chicago winters.

The first thing she said was, "it's so light" and then upon trying it on, "the sleeves are long enough!" and then, "it's soooo warm". It has a "slim fit" which is perfect for her long, tall and slim body. This is replacing a department store "name" brand (starts with C and is followed by K) casual down coat with a hood. It weighs twice as much and the main zipper broke within a year.

She just got it, so I am sure she will have rave reviews as time goes on. Based on other Patagonia jackets and products, the DWR finish will help keep it dry and the fabric and the zippers will probably last forever.

The detachable hood is incredible! It has a couple snaps in the front and a zipper around the neck, with fully adjustable cinch cords, one for around the face and one for side adjustments. No wool shredding velcro was used!
