Fabric: Encap-sil treated polyester
Fill: Polarguard HV
Price Paid: $275 Cdn
What was the Puffball Jacket has now become a true outerwear piece. They have now baffled the shoulders, beefed up the insulation and created a water repellent outer finish. This jacket is super warm, highly compressible (in its pocket), and performs double duty, something a fleece piece will not do. A jacket that performs well in town, as well as in the backcountry. I would consider it a 3-season plus jacket depending on your conditions. Truly a nice addition!

A great jacket -- compresses nicely into its own pocket for convenient storage -- and warm enough to make a passable belay jacket. The only beef I have is the main zipper is a tremendous pain with gloves on. The right choice for overnight camping in January in the Daks.
