Summary

Lightweight and comfortable. Perfect for trail running and hiking alike.

Pros

  • Wide base for stabalization.
  • Thick heel area.
  • Lightweight.
  • Confortable for long distance hiking.
  • Quick-drying.

Cons

  • Poor torque control.
  • Ball area somewhat thin.

These are my first trail running shoes after switching from boots. I was hesitant after their maiden voyage because my feet were very sore, but after another day of hiking they were completely broken-in. Now I love them and have used them for many weekend excursions as well as day hikes.

The side walls of the shoes are a light mesh that breathes very easily and dries quickly. I stepped in a river with these bad boys and they were completely dry within an hour. The base on the heel of the shoe is also very wide, which helps to provide excellent stabilization.

All in all I am very happy with this shoe and recommend it to anyone, especially someone who is still using boots!
