Summary
25kN for 2oz!
Pros
- Lightweight
- Inexpensive
- Strong
Cons
- Narrow opening
- Difficult to thread
In a Frog Ascending system, this is an excellent product to use. It's extremely strong for its weight, and you can slip several of these into your pocket.
The gate is too narrow to slip onto a standard climbing rope (that is not its purpose.). I find they can be difficult to thread, which is why I carry a small wrench in my climbing bag.
I had some time on my hands last week, and I noticed all this gear that I use regularly, but that no one has reviewed. Figured I put in my 2 cents.
