"Petzl MYOLITE 3 E32P is one of the lightest and most compact hybrid headlamps on the market, making it as perfect for mountaineering as it is for running. From Backcountry.com:
"LED lights are great because they last a long time, but sometimes you need more light than they have to offer. That's where the Petzl Myolite 3 comes in. "Cant say about the battery life because I just demoed this for a night adventure. But, the halogen lamp was worthless to me. I thought the lower leds allowed for a sharper night image. I also thought that there should be a third strap going overhead so the thing doesnt sag down the head while running."

"I bought this headlamp for the brightness it was supposed to offer with the initial headlamp. It has no distance and the l.e.d. actually seems brighter. The headlamp put out a very dull, yellow beam with no distance.

It does have great battery life and I haven't had a single malfunction."
