Rating: rated 2 of 5 stars
Source: bought it new
Price Paid: HKD90

Summary

It's just an overpriced water bottle.

Pros

  • light weight

Cons

  • straps are not sturdy
  • it does not retain the temp for a long time
  • a bit hard to squeeze
  • expensive

I used it on a 16km trail yesterday and it just retained the cold/cool water for about 30-45 minutes and it was all room temp. water after that.

The night before my trail, I've filled this bottle around 1/3 of its capacity and allowed it to ice in the freezer. Then on the day of my trip filled the rest with cold water from the fridge.

About 30-45 minutes after the water temp was just a little bit low from a normal room temp water.  It was not even outside my pack, it was well insulated inside.

In fairness though, it was still drinkable and didn't warm the water over the course of the trail.

Weather in HK yesterday was at 28-30°C, ovecast and occasional rain.
