Jack Roberts has compiled a guidebook of classic ice climbs in Colorado. Here's an excerpt from his introduction: To write a guidebook covering all of the ice climbing routes in Colorado would be quite a formidable task, and right away I knew I didn't want to do that, at least not for the first volume of the guide. Because ice climbing is so dependent on the weather, I decided to focus on routes that consistently form up each year, offer some classic or unique quality to the climbing experience, and expose people to areas that haven't seen much traffic and deserve more attention.
