Summary

A great bar and great taste. Maximum protein for minimum fat

Pros

  • Taste
  • Protein
  • Gives you a lot of kick for little bad side effects

Cons

  • Nada

I am constantly looking for a bar that 1) tastes good and 2) delivers the energy I need without loading up on bad fats/sodium etc. After going cross eyed reading labels, the PowerBar Oatmeal Raisin Cookie bar delivers on all the energy/nutrition fronts but ALSO tastes pretty good.

The oatmeal/raisin bar is pretty standard and has a white sugary component to it that is pretty tasty. I like the chocolate peanut butter one a bit better but this is a solid bar.

Powerbar is really one of my favorite bars. I have eaten the oatmeal and peanut butter/chocolate versions of the bar and the apple is just as good. High in protein low in sat fats and sugar, this is a good bar for ya!
