I have had my Yukon Extreme for one year. In that time I have used on a 24-hour bike race, for commuting by bicycle, after-dark XC skiing, hunting, and other activities. This headlamp has not let me down.
It is extremely powerful -- it uses 8 AA batteries. It has 4 modes LED low, LED high, Xenon low, and Xenon high. On Xenon high the beam goes a good 150m. On Led low the light will last 80+ hours (the battery pack is on a cable which means that you can place the batteries next to your body to keep them warm). Don't leave home without it.
