Honestly Amazing gluten-free (GF) Bar

I have to eat gluten-free. Gluten will kill me and almost did.  I have been looking for a long shelf life food bar that is gluten-free and there are so few to choose from. This bar does not have an overly long shelf life but it is longer than average. I have avoided trying this bar because of its price. It is spendy as bars go. The other day though I was in the store and needed something to eat before I got home. This was on the shelf so I decided it was time to try it.  I cannot tell you my surprise with this bar. First, it's Oatmeal Chocolate, a combination that has never sounded good to me. I'll eat oatmeal raisin all day long, but chocolate?  Not only did this bar taste good, the texture was amazing as well. Something about it that I can't describe. Not too gooey or dry. It just felt good to have in my mouth and chew. This bar was amazing. It also is pretty big as bars go. I've not had any other flavors but I was absolutely not expecting this bar to be as good as it was.

However, they are expensive in my mind.  So much so it doesn't make for a good survival type food to store  on a shelf for if and when stores have a problem restocking. I will absolutely buy this again for backpacking, hiking and other events. The packaging makes it look bland but they are truly excellent bars. Try one and let me know what you think.
