"I had to grab an inexpensive jacket for a ski trip and found the Red Ledge Parka on sale for $150. I don't ski much so I can't comment on its attributes for the snow skier. I did have backpacking in mind, and for that it has performed very well. I was amazed at the TH4 membrane."

"This parka is an exellent value. it has all of the features of tnf's mountain light but for a fraction of the cost. i've had mine for maybe 250 miles. what can i say, it keeps me dry. the only proplem that i have encountered is that the factory coating (aside from the PTFE laminate) isn't very good. this problem was easily fixed with some nikwax spray."

"I was kind of nervous because it was so cheap, but it works really well. It has all of the features of a $400 North Face, at less than half of the price. The TH4 membrane works perfectly, and it is very breathable."
