Rating: rated 3 of 5 stars
Materials: leather
Use: day hikes to peak bagging medium pack weight
Break-in Period: 1-2 days
Weight: 3+ lbs
Price Paid: $159 US

Very nicely made quality boots. Soles are very durable and comfortable if they fit you. I use a shock doctor insole in mine and they're great boots. Midweight boots I use them for backpacking, day hiking, and easy peak baging. They don't have Gore-tex but are very water resistant, and your feet will sweat less.

My only complaint is that the heels are a little tall and narrow, making them slightly less stable than many other boots on the market. I could see that it would be easy to roll your ankles if you weren't careful, especially on the downhill.
