I have had this pack for nearly five years now!! It has been on many many trips including the north Cascades, Olympics, Rockies, Italian Alpennines, German Alps, Swiss Alps, as well as many multi-day city trips from northern Germany to Sicily. I couldn't be happier with this pack!!! All zippers still work well, and no holes yet!!

I have used this pack for many things and it excels at all of them. I first used this pack on my honeymoon. In the description it fails to mention that you can remove the hollow stays and waist belt. This allowed it to fit perfectly in the overhead compartment in coach. It easily and comfortably hauled everything (except my suit) to the cruise ship and during a walking tour of Miami on the return trip.

I have yet to wear it on an overnight, but I have worn it on several day trips from summer in the Sierras, where it barely had anything in it and sucked down super small and didn't shift while pulling some class 4 moves. To winter along the coast and the Sierras, where I always take more stuff than I need, just in case. It still looks brand new, not a scuff or snag is visible.
