14 years of use, approximately 750 nights camped in, 70 mph wind gusts, torrential rains, and Boy Scout abuse and I'm finally turning it in for a new Half Dome.

Retailers' Descriptions

Here's what other sites are saying:

Great for 3-season backpacking on a budget, the Sierra Dome 2 is lightweight, easy to pitch and full of great features-all at an incredible price! Durable, equal-length aluminum poles provide lightweight strength; setup is a breeze thanks to an intuitive pole clip and sleeve design. No-see-um mesh allows ample ventilation to prevent condensation while keeping bugs out. Full-coverage, factory seam-sealed polyester taffeta rainfly creates eaves to shelter the doors. Vent at top of fly can be opened or closed, depending on your ventilation needs. 2 mesh storage pockets inside tent keep small items up off the floor; included removable attic lets you store small items above and out of the way. Includes stuff sack, pole bag, stake bag and 6 aluminum hook stakes. Average minimum weight specification is based on tent, rainfly and poles only. Special buy.
