After healing from a broken ankle (non-hiking related)…

Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Materials: leather outer/gore-tex inner
Use: rough trail w/heavy load
Break-in Period: none
Weight: ?
Price Paid: $179

After healing from a broken ankle (non-hiking related) I needed something sturdy to feel confortable on the trail. Your feet pop into this boot like a ski boot. I've never owned a boot so comfortable. I've never had so much as a blister, even while breaking them in. I hiked a couple of miles through a foot of snow in the Rockies and my feet stayed bone dry. I have no complaints.
