From REI:
"Squamish offers the light, technical protection required by those four-season outdoor fans who demand the latest and greatest in their gear. Three-layer REI Elements®/ripstop nylon waterproof, breathable laminate shell has sealed seams for complete weather protection. Two-way stretch fabric and shaped elbows allow comfortable range of motion and ample arm movement with no tugging. Pit zippers allow adjustable ventilation to keep your body temperature regulated. Full storm hood with stiff brim cinches down for a close fit with unhindered peripheral vision. Brushed tricot chin guard protects against zipper abrasion. Two-way, water-resistant front zipper with interior draft flap. Features two hand pockets and one chest pocket with water-resistant zippers; hand pockets can be accessed with your backpack on. All zippers use welded construction which saves weight and is less bulky. Pockets are welded on the exterior of the jacket, leaving a clean-finished, non-bulky interior that doesn't get hung up on underneath layers. Cuff tabs and hem drawcord keep warmth in and cold out. Technical, clean cut is generous enough to allow layering; rear dropped hem offers more protection in back where you need it."
