Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Source: bought it new
Price Paid: $140

Summary

I bought this sleeping bag to save weight and reduce pack size. It is a huge score in both of these areas.

Pros

  • Warm
  • Comfortable
  • Good coverage
  • No down leaks, even on first use

Cons

  • Zipper snagged easily
  • Pocket too small to hold anything

Packs down to 5 liters, which is quite good compared to a synthetic bag of the same temp rating. I slept in it 2 nights, one of which dipped below freezing. I used a liner to keep myself warm.

Warmth: I feel like the diamond pattern offers really good coverage of the insulation.  I was warm down to the rated temp, but was wearing a fleece OmniHeat jacket

Fit & Comfort: I have a 46' chest and it fit me fine.,  Should fit anyone around 6'2" or shorter

Entry & Exit: Zipper wasn't the most cooperative, but otherwise I had no issues

Moisture: Didn't test, but it seems like a dry weather bag (as most down bags are).

Packability: Down to 5 liters, or 6"x12"

Loft: Excellent, as down usually is.

Ease of Use: No complaints here, better than most of my bags.

Construction & Durability: Seems to be well made, did NOT leak down, no stitching loose or overruns.

Conditions: 2 nights in the 30's and 40's in dry conditions.

Excellent summer bag. Packs down to nothing and is…

Rating: rated 4.5 of 5 stars
Design: rectangle
Fill: 600 down
Temperature Rating: 45 degrees
Weight: 27 ounces
Price Paid: $79

Excellent summer bag. Packs down to nothing and is very light.

Needs to be treated with a DWR so water beads off if you use in wet conditions. The bag is very roomy and you can unzip all the way and let legs and feet out. The bag only weighs 27 ounces, yet feels durable and doesn't leak feathers.

It is a little cold at 45 degrees but I have used down to 35 with hat, wool socks and fleece pants and shirt, no problem.

Get it on sale and you will be very happy with this bag. Good value even at full price.

This is a great warm weather sleeping bag. Perfect…

Rating: rated 5 of 5 stars
Design: mummy
Fill: 650 fill down
Temperature Rating: 45 F
Weight: 1 lb

This is a great warm weather sleeping bag. Perfect for hut to hut hiking, warm weather camping, or your friends couch. The 600 fill down keeps you warm and makes it incredibly light and packable down to the size of a 1-liter water bottle. The foot vent keeps you cool in hot weather and the close fit allows for optimum warmth when needed. I am 6'1 170 lbs and the regular fits me fine with room for me to pull the hood over my head and synch down the easy to use straps. Also a great liner for my 20 degree synthetic bag when it is really cold out. So far, I've been comfortable in temps down to the 30's with a fleece top and bottom on. Highly recommend for people who want to go light and fast.
