Rating: rated 4 of 5 stars
Design: front and top access internal
Size: approx. 3800 cubic inches
Max. Load Carried: 40 lbs
Height of Owner: 5'-8"

The pack has many good features, but lacks some of the features the newer versions ('06 and '07) carry. This one does not have a hydration reservoir - it has always been difficult for me to figure out the best place to carry my bladder in it. I love the top and front access - the front accesses an area that is convenient for sleeping bag carry. The '05 model also does not have a daisy chain on the outside. The number and location of pockets is great and the entire pack is easily adjustable and very comfortable.

I used this for a week-long trip in the Grand Teton area and had no problem carrying everything I needed.
