User Review: The North Face Assault 22
Rating: ![]()
Design: 4 season high altitude dome
Sleeps: 2
Ease of Setup: Easiest, Fastest I've ever seen.
Weight: very light
Price Paid: £500
A glowing yellow tent designed for fast pitch and resistance to rain, wind and snow in extremis.
It has no vestibule so is just about big enough for two people without much gear. Don't get it for multi-day trips with lots of gear. A toothbrush or two is about it.
Despite rumors about condensation in the cold, my friend and I experienced very little during a night of continuous rain, and I sweat a lot.
